The first book in the series, At The World’s Turn, details the adventures of our hero, Aona Breid, who bonds with a savage, man-eating, fire-breathing creature that imbues him with magical powers. As a member of his uncle’s circus, Aona is swept into the town of Rei Rhiol, where he becomes embroiled in a sinister plot involving kidnapped children and the tyrannical ruler known as the Majister.
